I have a drug test every tuesday and thursday. I'm getting some shrooms and maybe some acid from my dealer. I need to know if either of them will show up on my tuesday drug test if i dose on friday night. I know that psilocin and lsd tests are expensive, but how expensive? Will my drug abuse clinic test for it? I'm in the clinic for weed and dxm. I need to know soon.

    Re: Will it show up?

On average, LSD can be detected in one's urine for 12 - 24 hours and 2 - 4 days in one's blood. So, if this is a urine test then you should be just fine, but a blood test would be pushing it. Just keep in mind that these detection times can vary greatly upon one's metabolic rate, body mass, the amount and frequency of use, etc. So, no one can guarantee that LSD or its metabolites will not be found in a drug test.

On the other hand, I'm not exactly sure of the detection window for psilocin/psilocybin, as I hardly ever hear of people getting tested for those.

No one can know whether or not your drug abuse clinic will test for the aforementioned drugs. Also, I'm not sure of the prices for the drug tests; that would be up to the company that is running those tests.

I thought drugs could be detected in urine way after they can in blood.. you sure you didn't mean the other way round, Kid?

I seriously doubt that any typical, routine test includes esoteric drugs such as psilocin or LSD. Both are extremely expensive tests to complete.

I can say for certain that LSD is not detectable in blood any longer than 24 hours. With the concentrations from normal dosages and half-life and other pharmacokinetic parameters considered, it is more likely several hours. Urine, on the other hand, has a detection window reportedly of up to 24-120 hours.

shrooms will never make you fail a test! they might make you get lost in a cotton field though............ hope the fungus is used in a safe environment with some one sober to help you distinguish between reality and fantasy land.

It is entirely possible to test for both, however, the process involved is different, quite expensive, inconsistent, and rarely helpful for a variety of reasons, and consequently not widely used, the US military did, at one point, test servicemen for LSD but ceased doing so due to high cost and low number of cases caught.

It think it depends on the purpose of the drug test. When I was in pain management, periodically I would have to give a sample where they use the standard 9 panel cup. Once the results from the lab indicated that I had used suboxone at my next visit, the doctor confronted me about it.

I know at drug court they use the same type of cup so they can tell immediately what's in your system. They also send to the lab to test for levels of whatever drug. So it wouldn't surprise me if they also test for other substances like LSD or mushrooms. Who knows?

Psilocybin has a half life of 1.8 to 4 hours and a typical detection window of 1 day and in some rare cases 3 days .Samples of Urine should be immediaetly wrapped in foil to close out any light since the drug rapidly degrades in light exposure .Psilocybin tests are considerably costly. This was taken directly from NORChemical website . Also this being said 12 panel expanded drug tests dont even include Mushroom testing a all . Even the 14 panel Hair test doesnt .I eat shrooms on a regular basis and i am in drug court and test 2 times a week miniimum and never had problerms
