I just started receiving Zubsolv from my doctor. I was previously on Suboxone but he changed my script. I go back for evaluation in a few days and i've been taking the strips of Suboxone despite being put on Zublov. I'll be drug screened when i go back in. I hear the ingredients are exactly the same, except for a few minor differences. I'm taking both Zubsolv and Suboxone depending on the day.

I was wondering if the drug screen would show i've been taking suboxone when i go in. This has got me a little worried. Will the doctor be able to tell i've taken Suboxone 'and' Zubsolv? Or will it all just show up as buprenorphine?

I don't think my doctor would be too pleased if he knew i was still taking a Suboxone every now and then, because he wanted to try Zubsolv on me. Any knowledge would be appreciated. My main question is:

Is there enough of a difference in Suboxone and Zubsolv that my doctor could detect and differentiate between the two in a drug screen?

i dont think so. according to my sub doctor (when i was taking them) the 2 are interchangeable. both have bupe and the naloxone, and are supposed to be the exact same. i dont see why your doctor would even be mad anyhow if he even can tell, since zubsolv is just a generic of suboxone.

Nah they can't tell the difference. They have the same active ingredients. Here's a link that doesn't specifically answer your question. But does give info on what they test for.
