This post will be updated with molecular templates as they are created. Please post any questions regarding these templates and requests for new templates for drug families here. Additional information can be found in Wiki Task: Molecular images. Note: the only thing missing from templates is the name of the molecule. When fitting a molecule with the template, please add the name of the compound. It should be: Arial font, 24 point size, black (hex: #000000) color. It also needs to be in a certain position/place on the template. Refer to the values below. For more information see in the FAQ. 1. Benzodiazepine template. 269x332 pixels. Molecule name position: (10,288):10 pixels from left border, 288 pixels from top border 2. 4-sub-trypt templates (1) (2). 319x257 and 389x287 pixels. Molecular name position: (10,216) and (10,243).
you mean 10 from left, 288 from TOP right? i was confused. esp. that wouldnt make sense if the names had different numbers of characters. I would also like to point out in photoshop when checking position you have the option of 9 reference points, ie top left, middle, bottom right of the object. This template shows 10 px from the left when the reference point is the left middle, and 288 px from the top when the reference point is the center of the object. This is what I used to make the 5-IAI molecule. All I did was cut down the height of the benzodiazepine template (i.e. they have the same width). The name is still 10 px from the right but now the center of the text is 166 px from the top. I am not sure what other molecules might fit this template. ok wtf why is it black now i saved it as transparent
Yes indeed, 288 from the top. Corrected that in my post. Looks like the orientation is all right but the black background is something I've ran into issues with in the past. Not sure why but when I copy & paste transparent images from the web, they come up as black on my copmuter (whether its DF, wikipedia, or other).
How have you been creating the watermarks? I need to make some but don't know the transparency levels or font for the copyright.
I made the watermark and copyright some time ago; likely Arial font as well. The watermark was 60% transparency. Both are available in my album (https://drugs-forum.com/forum/album.php?albumid=1245) but were turning out differently every time I tired to use them, hence the idea for a template. Playing around with levels of tranparency in different editors is likely to result in failure of rendering a consistent image; I've had trouble with even within one editing program.
nnizzle, pick the largest molecule(s) from your list, upload them, and i can put together a couple more templates which you can use to create the images - so long as photoshop doesn't give you a hard time re: the black back ground.

I get this error: 404 Error Message: Page Not Found on Drugs-Forum.com EDIT: Nvm, managed to find them : https://drugs-forum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=9395 https://drugs-forum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=9396
Done. oh, another issue, anti-aliasing. W/o it the text appears jagged. Please explore this function in your photo editor. EDIT: This is the issue with the current 5-IAI image (everything else is perfect). Also, for sake of appealing to the masses I've just been including the short form in the molecular image. If both names are to be included, 5-ioodo-2-amino-indane should appear under 5-IAI. See the LSD image.
Like the benzo template, all my images are now exactly the same as JaSIMS, SO THATS THE BENZOS DONE WHEN i GET THEM UPLOADED Sorry capslock, but I'm really tired
