Hard to Stay Hopeful

Starting a new adventure, in a couple days. Things are going smooth, so far. That makes me nervous. o_O #fingerscrossed

Once Upon a Time…..I stumbled back into reality, and suddenly needed a job. After decades of drug use, downing handles of whiskey, my criminal record was longer then my resume. I could ace interviews, fly thru assessments, but I always failed the background. Christmas was around the corner, and seasonal jobs openings were rolling in. I applied for them all, got an interview the next day. It was with a world-wide, giant company, I didn’t think I had a chance. Interview was going well,...
