Growing Ephedra

Ephedra sinica is an evergreen Shrub which grows in sandy places, plains and mountain slopes at elevations of about 700 - 1600 metres. Ephedra sinica doesn't like the shade. It prefers dry or moist soil and can tolerate drought. Ephedra sinica does not tolerate wet environments.
