Drug Law

Drug laws can prohibit the production, distribution, sale and use of controlled substances through the control of local, state, national or international law and directives. Laws include regulations on controlled substances, medicines, dangerous goods, drug analogs, paraphernalia and driving under the influence.

National law is bound by international treaties and directives. Most specifically by:
The United Nations treaties.
The European Union directives.
