I'll start if everyone else is camera shy. :b

The first time I did adderal, he got it from a kid with a perscription who was feeling nice one day. He got to take 75mg around 9 or 10, and ended up staying up all night. Originally he wanted to say some things to his computer while he was recording and then go for an amphetamine-induced late night walk, but once he started talking he ended up going for, oh, six hours. The whole time sleep was off his mind, he felt sociable and talkative, and pretty much didn't feel pain. All night he used a piece of metal to dig under his nails, and didn't notice how badly it hurt/was bleeding until the adderal wore off. Since then, he's counted adderall as up there with all his favorite drugs.

    Great in moderation

SWIM made the most common mistake. He didn't control him self :(.
Just by plain luck he found a bottle of 26 20mg pills from a friends old scrip. Because he is a great guy he would never takea nearly full current scrip. But rest assured this was months old. Anyway. This happened in the 10th week of classes. Finals was next week so he though "oh goody A's in everything".
He couldn't have been more wrong. That monday when he woke up after 5 hours of sleep he popped a 20mg pill thinking "now I can work like crazy all day." It went great for a few hours and he did well. He grooved to hardcore techno and worked. But around 4 hours he started feeling tired and shitty. So he popped another, and then another at 1:00pm. After all this he had got a lot of work done. But he was heading home and looked like he was speeding hard. So he goes home goes right upstairs so no one suspects him and continues to work. 10:00pm rolls around and he decided to go to sleep so he will work cleaner the next day. This is where the major trouble starts. He tossed and turned till 2:00am at which time he fell into fitfull sleep. At 9:00 he was woken by his alarm and strangly he felt fine. Apparently the adderall was still in his system. But he thought it good to eat another 20mg. So he at that and started to work. Around 12:00 he decided he needed more. But didn't want to eat it. So he went to the school bathroom crushed up 10mg and snorted it (tasty orange). This is when it gets funny. He had energy to work but he kept missing stuff. He had to read things over and over to get them. This goes on for the rest of the day.

When he gets home arond 6 he eats for the first time since monday morning. Feels better, and tried to go to sleep at 10:00 again. Not happening. He tosses and turns for another night. When he wakes up he knows this is going to get bad but he doesn't stop him self.

Here is when My memory gets spotty. Over the rest of the week SWIM keeps eating 20mg a day (at least its not 60) and not sleeping well. By friday he is a wreck. He can't concentrait he can't talk strait and he feels enraged at tiny things. Finally I think "this is enough!" Stops taking the adderall and gets grinding on the work with good rest and food.

SWIM learned a great thing from this. Be fucking carful with stims!!!!
After finals week he enjoyed a few 20mg experiances and they were wonderful. Euphoria music appriciation and energy. But now he has gotten enough from this and is trading it for some good old mary jane.

Learn from stupid my mistake. Watch intake and BE FUCKING CARFUL.

    Thank you.

I was bored at home all alone. he had noticed in the past that there were adderall bottles lying around the house and decided this was a good time to try it. he had 10mg capsules and decided that snorting 40 mg would be good to start. it was plently. he went downstairs to find something to do. he planned to play a video game then read, and do the various other things that seemed appealing on a drug designed to make you concentrate. however after he started playing his game, the game was pole position, an old school 2D driving game, about as simple a video game as anyone is going to find. he played for 4 straight hours taking almost no breaks, he felt no need to do anything that didn't involve beating his high score.
and the high school was almost as high as he was.

Swim now has a script for addies but has only "abused" them once. that once was only a dose of 40 mg over the course of 5 hours or so. he went to a football game and had taken 20mg and was so focused on the game, it was great. he then popped another 10mg after the game before eating. after eating and getting cleaned up he then popped another 10mg before going out. this was the highest dose I has ever had, and felt it to be a safe and fun dose. I had a lot of experience with ephedrine and other legal stims, but just got the addies. After that bottle was empty, he now has 15 mg pills. it has almost been a month on the bottle and he has only used 8 pills. I am thinking about trying out a higher dose. future plans consist of: 40mg crushed beads with 40mg of XR 2 hours later.

This is a story about an actual friend of mine who got pretty heavily addicted to adderall. I am getting a perscription soon (legitimately for my ADHD) and this story will always serve as an example of how to use my perscription responsibly and what it is intended for.

Anyway, on to the story. A friend of mine has been pretty crazy for a while. I have known him since elementary school so I have a pretty good gauage on his personality. I don't mean crazy in a deragatory sense, just in the sense that he was definitely a hyper kid when we were younger and always just had his mind all over the place. In fact he has a perscription to xanax, and I joke with my parents (who of course know him since he was a friend for so long) that if any kid would need something like xanax, it would be him (and he does, in fact, have a perscription). This guy is a great friend of mine so I don't mean it if I seem to be bashing him, he is just someone who has truely benefited (overall) from his treatments.

Anyway, for a couple of years he has had a perscription to adderall and xanax. I'm not quite sure when either started, but I know he had them at least since the middle of high school. He had always been ahead of other people in "drug development" so to speak. That is, he was dealing pot while SWIM still thought weed was a dangerous drug. However, he didn't really abuse his perscriptions. I mean its possible he used them recreationally from time to time but when your parents are managing your perscriptions its hard to really go overboard.

So he goes of to college and all goes well for the first semester. He's an engineering student which I know for a fact is quite demanding. The University I attend (I'm sure you can figure it out from my location) is home to one of the best engineering schools in the world and I see the enormous amount of pressure put on engineers. There is just such a huge competition for success in a field populated by many extremely brilliant people, especially when engineering schools make the workload as heavy as possible in order to separate the "men from the boys" so to speak.

That being the case, his perscription to adderall increased. I'm not sure exactly, but he was taking either at least 60 or 90mg a day, which is quite a lot. Most people I know are perscribed 20mg XR to last them a day, maybe 30 or 15. He was on a cocktail of XR and IR in quite a large amount. Still though, 90mg of adderall is a lot to take in a day. Especially when the intensity of the effects are important to getting your work done. Like many college students I know, he took as much as he needed when he needed it to get work done, abused it recreationally sometimes, but didn't take it constantly.

So, of course, he was stockpiling quite a bit in the process. This stockpiling lead to the opportunity to do more and more recreationally. That is, he was accumulating enough even after doing his work he was basically had nothing other than his better judgement to hold him back from doing whatever amount he wanted. So his binges would consist of huge dosages, we're talking low hundreds sometimes. In fact, he sent me a picture once of a 30mg line he had cut and did in one fell swoop.

Like all addictions, it grew and spiraled out of control. The culmination of which was, as it was described to me, a one day 450mg binge that landed him in the hospital. He described the experience in the hospital as one of the most emotionally disturbing I have ever heard. He said his emotions would just cycle systematically; one moment he would be calm and happy, the next moment he would be angry and yelling at the people trying to help, then he would have a bout of uncontrollable laughter, and then hysterically cry. He said the emotions cycled through, unchanged in order, until they finally administered some type of hypnotic. He tells me he remembers begging for xanax while in the ER and being refused it despite his perscription.

In the end he was medically discharged from his school, but allowed to return the next semester. He was unsure for a while if he would go back or wait, but ended up returning. His psychiatrist recently perscribed him adderall again, despite my freind's hesitation. Unfortunately for him adderall is the only thing that allows him to focus enough to do his work and hopefully he will learn from that experience not to heavily abuse it.

Swim first experience was in college. Before then he didnt even know what it was. He was trying to stay up to study for an exam. A friend offered a 15mg pill and he took the offer. He took it and felt on top of the world. He studied 17 hours straight skipping all his other classes for that exam. It gave the feeling that anything in the world is doable. Now he doesnt study without it.

I have used it to study several times and enjoys it for the effects its meant to give. SWIM notices that he oftentimes gets a "hungry" feeling in his stomache yet has no desire to eat. SWIM also is much more social and talkative when he takes it so sometimes he gets distracted from his studies and talks to people for a while. All in all I think adderall is great. He doesnt take large doses and doesnt have a consistant source, thus he believes his addiction potential is low. SWIM loves the motivation and drive he gets while on it.

Yeah, I get that too, especially if he is actually hungry before he takes adderall. Usually he'll just eat something since hunger is the body's way of telling you it needs food. But because it is an amphetamine, he'll usually eat something healthy and high in energy due to the inreased metabolism.

For some reason, I has choosen bananas as his Adderall snack. My finals week just ended so swim wont probably take any more adderall anytime soon. (Though he does have 40mg left ;) )
I would also like to add that he enjoys the caffine/adderall synergy, but does feel the need to urinate alot after partaking.
I also have a kinda funny story, a friend of swims had never taken adderall before, but ingested 30mg at 1.00pm the night before a 10.30am exam. My friend did not go to sleep that night and crashed right after the exam. I could only chuckle, he has a low tolerance, but obviously no where near as low as his friend. He had intended just to study all day but still sleep.

Yesterday SWIM opened up three 25 mg Adderall XR capsules and crushed the pellots the best he could. He then dumped the powder(some pellots still in tact) into a piece of toilet paper and swallowed it at 5:30 PM. Approximately 15 minutes later, he was already feeling energetic. An hour later I was out with friends and did not stop talking or walking until about 12:00 PM when he came home. I had no problem falling asleep around 1:30 AM. SWIM slept until about 12:00 noon. I think he is hungover from the Adderall because he is very tired today, and it is about 10:00 PM now and he is ready to go to sleep.

I have a freind who prescribed adderall for narcolepse(I hope I spelled it right). She Suggested that swim try it (knowing how very hyper I am). It, like some other stimulants, had the opposite effect on swim. I was calm and was able to think, stay focused and problem solve much better under the "influence".

hahahaha I have had a few good experiences with it but one was excellent, I was SWIMMING at a local chill restaurant with some new friends they were all really cool, one gave SWIM a 30 mg adderall... took it at 10:00 stayed up all night talking and talking and talking and talking... went home around 1:00 and felt just a joyous euphoria (because this I don't usually talk much, it felt great for that SWIM to just let it all hang loose), watched Sealab2021 until the wee hours of the morning and went to bed.

I took it for a short time for adhd. Worked very very well, and felt very very good. But SWIM lost a little too much weight (not hungry) and DR switched my adhd meds.

During My experience with adderal, he also gets that 'hungery' feeling but yet has no desire to eat. His experiences usually are just him in a few social situations and for studies. Nothing to great but I think that it works wonders for his social anxiety. I am actually able to talk to people who he doesn't know without mentally freaking out.

    Adderall is a crazy drug.
I went on a pretty big binge for about a month before midterms and a couple of weeks afterwards during winter break in my senior year of High School (needed the good grades to get into college.) Well it did exactly what I wanted it to, got on the honor roll for the first time and some scholarship offers, but at what cost?

I lost touch with most of my family whom I had always had a beautiful relationship with because they only liked me or I thought they only liked me when I was on it, and now I don't know how our family ties will ever recover and be the same.
Years of love and happiness and caring all destroyed by something smaller than a fingernail.

It wasn't just mental either, I was lucky if I got 2 hours of sleep a day and half the nights I wouldn't sleep at all, I also lost about 10 pounds in only three weeks when I was already very skinny, I am a 5'11" male and I went from being a recruited cross-country runner at 136 down to about 125 pounds of skin and bones with no muscles to be found.(Think Christian Bale in the Machinist)
The insomnia started to create delusions and I started to see less and less of all my friends because I would make up these bizarre scenarios in my head with no shred of truth that I would fully believe and became angry and kept a grudge on all of them for absolutely no reason.

I Hate Adderall, almost ruined my life and I know it, yet here I am on another one of those horrible late-night comedowns because I have convinced myself that I could only do work with the help of my little blue friend.

I Love Adderall, got me into college, its always fun at parties, makes class bearable and it somehow makes me enjoy doing homework.
It is without a doubt a magic school pill, but for every yin there is also a yang.

I don't want to lecture anybody on why not to do it, because it is very fun. I just wanted my opinion and story to be out there for anyone interested and my only advice would be to never get your own prescription, buy it from a dealer or ask a friend who does have a prescription if you really want it. That will help you keep in moderation.

-I know I didn't use my because this is not somebody else's story

I tried adderall for the first pill I took ever, it was a 20mg tablet. SWIM noticed 20-30 minutes into his chem class I felt focusing. However, as soon as the bell rang 20 minutes after I felt normal, went to a music/dancing assembly at school last hour, and was pretty entertained.

After school, I felt really weird, I felt as if though I could do anything SWIM wanted to, but was too afraid/nervous to even do it..

About 2 hours 30 min after SWIM popped the pill, euphoria started to arise. I was all happy and energetic. SWIM made plans to go see Jumper in theaters and was thrilled in the ride there.

SWIM reached into his backpack to take SWIM's 'Explosive/Narcotics Synthesis and Lab Binder' SWIM made and realized I was a dumbass and left it in school chem class. That is when I got depressed and felt anxiety all of a sudden, if someone found SWIM's binder SWIM knew that with a method of creating Meth, Speed, Coke in it along with Explosives I would be in DEEP SHIT!

Afterwards, during the movie, I experience the comedown, I say it is depressing/silent and felt paranoid because of the binder issue. SWIM stomach started to tumble a little and had the chills.

Afterwards I went to bed. So overall I say good euphoria/energy drug but I recommend not to let anything bring you down whilst rolling on adderall because it will give you a MOOD SWING and give you a bad comedown/feeling....stay positive otherwise it won't be as fun.

I am waiting to go early on school monday to grab SWIM's damn binder before anyone/teacher sees its contents, fuck.

Addies aren't swim's doc. however, one real crazy memory from doing too many of them. I have been using addies day and thought she would give it a break that night. She tried to force herself to sleep, yeah right. She looks at the window and what appears to be cloud people are coming in. She would look away and blink but it wouldn't go away. That was really freaky.
