The quality of information and variety of personal stories available here in an interactive forum have been invaluable to my recovery from opiate and benzodiazepine dependency and addiction. The community here has become my main support system. I have made a close friend through DF and we share our struggle intimately through direct messages available on DF.

This little gem is a good way to understand what DF used to be, what it has become and what it will become.

Alfa, thank you for putting us and this site into perspective!

I would never have guessed that my go-to site for information, be it to ask a question or attempt an answer, would come to be a top notch "go-to" when seeking a sense of community and support!

I've come in here many times over the last 5 years to read and learn so many things, however recently I became addicted to a facet of this site I had somehow previously not connected with - the community.

There are many different types of personalities on DF and the ways people choose to deal with solving problems that arise are varied and numerous. Each thread tends to contain a variety of suggestions and answers for the OP provided by their peers. With all the unique perspectives provided, there will almost always be a suggestion or answer that feels comfortable to the OP, who leaves the encounter feeling positive and even uplifted.

The subject of drug use in our day to day lives is almost always presented with judgement and threats. It is absolutely essential for the subject of drugs to become more open and better understood. The ability to reduce harm and save lives needs to become the norm rather than atypical. Drugs Forum has opened the doorway to a future where this can come to pass.

There is caring and compassion here, and they come together to form a foundation that is cohesive, innovative and unyielding. Onward and upward Drugs Forum - to the future!
