Drug information Methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV) Drug Info

No, I don't find it hard on the body. I have yet to experience any real
nausea or any other side effects, maybe some slight cramping at the
onset (thats the closest thing I have experienced) and the expected
racing heart. Again there is no 'real' crash, but at about th 6-7-8
hour mark there is a mild crash, very mild crash, which is basically
just some tiredness and a headache (this passes in about an hour for
me). I have yet to snort it, I have only taken it orally.

 

its a good product if you compare to amphets but it lacks euphoria

i prefer mdma



also for me it is very more potent snorted than orally, don't know why.

 

Well most of you seem to have lost interest in this substance (which is
understandable) but I thought I would offer one more bit of info. I
recently took 30mg and redosed with another 20mg 4 hours after (at that
initial 4 hour mark I could feel the effects start wearing off).
Nothing new happened.I think that there is a cap on the effects that
this creates, whether you ingest 10mg or 40. I think its gonna be
basically the same all around, only a slight increase in the duration
and effects will change. Nothing drastic in terms of good or bad. Maybe
if you took 200mg you will notice something big and that'll prolly be a
heart attack.

 

It is to my opinion incomparable with the mdma. (Which seems more toxic).
But closer tococaine. (I do not know amphétamines).

 

Anyone else have opinions, besides william_again, about how it compares to adderall/ritalin/concerta?



If MPDV could turn out to actually be better than adderall that would be very usefull.

 

I've experimented much with this one. At first I thought it was a
wonder drug, I mean lowish doses orally (up to like..10mg or so) work
to get my head focused and motivated - and you can barely "feel it"
come on at all.



Low doses mixed with low doses of amphetamines or even BZP were real
good, found if i took too much MDPV though, sometimes i'd get an odd
'oversensitive' feeling, like little pokes on my skin, sorta like if
your taking benzo's regularly then suddenly stop. Some GBL fixed
that (doesn't G fix everything though?).



It works great snorting a few mg's if you have to wake up for some
reason and .. well, need to "wake up" and get going fast. Always
seems easy on my body, I just find you can't push the dose too high in
a day. I have noticed "visual effects" but only color enhancement
(better contrast/colors) at the higher doses (or smoked).



Now, smoked.. this stuff will vaporise in a glass pipe easily and
*immediately* wake you right up after a small hit. Instant focus
etc. If you smoke enough well it does kinda feel like smoking
freebase cocaine just without the euphoria i guess.. it does get you
hyped up definitely though. Also doesn't seem to last too long
smoked (good thing, although sometimes you just want to .. smoke more
and more).

 

For you guys does this ruin your appetite? I have some but is reluctant to try it, since he is trying to gain weight/muscle and is finally getting results.

 

it does kill appetite but not to the degree of amphetamines.

I didnt feel hungry while i was on it but had no problem stuffing some food into myself.



So far i have only tried smoking it. (it does feel a little like another drug)

Do you guys think it is better oral or insufflated as opposed to smoked?

 

i try it smoked, insufflated and oral and i prefer oral!with 15mg i spend the night! Smoking we use 300mg for 3 personne in one night (8 or 10 hours).

 

So if this does not provide the much yearned-for euphoria... does this mean there is also less of a modd crash later?

I'm curious about this one... seems more like a "tool" than a "fun" drug... after all getting high means getting euphoric (well, to me anyhow, somehow).

 

Ok, MDPV has been compared to MDMA, supposedly having a little
empathogenic qualities, and has been compared to amphetamines and coke.

Any thoughts on how it compares to modanifil(modafinil?) ? Seems to have some similarities.

 

modafinil is totally diferent. different receptor subtypes affected - A1 / A2 adrenergic i believe, while MDPV is DA reuptake inhibitor.

subjectively, i find MDPV much more pleasant, does not make your urine stink, and unless overdose, you won't get the paranoia / fight or flight that happens with modafinil. plus, it does not appear to put a strain on your kidneys.

that said, overdoses of MDPV are extremely unpleasant.

 

I have three quick questions I was wondering if there is an answer to any of them someone is aware of?

1.Im guessing MDPV would trigger for amphetamines in a urine analysis?

2.Would you estimate the detection time to be somewhat like amphetamines like 3-7 days? Is it possible for this to stay in the system longer?

and for the more important one,
3. Is there a way to make this more effective in via smoking? Would free basing it help?Edited by: RoboCop

 

^for the first two questions, unknown, since the reagent tests (Marquis, Mandelin) do not show MDVP to react as an amphetamine.

Interesting... actually I was curious myself about mixing DMT with
MDPV.. and I happened to click this thread right after I took some
orally, I shall smoke DMT (in a dream, of course) and see how goes
it. Something about DMT and dopamine makes that light in my head
go on, but I really don't know why.. definitely smoking some DMT after
using methamphetamine seems to really boost the visuals.

I found Smoking this is a waste. i went through a ridiculous amount in
a night. I'd still have some left if i didnt have the bright idea to
see if it works in the pipe.



i did find that i came down pretty fast - much better than meth in this
regards, and i could sleep the same night as having some.

 

smoking it really is a waste i suppose.

i went through half a gram in 1 week.

 

Swim said this one makes him rather depressed after the initial 15 minute buzz. Everytime Swim tries it after the initial effects he feels very aggitated, depressed for hours and is unable to sleep although that is all he wants to do. The only way to get rid of the depression is to take more, which solves the problem for about 15-25 minutes then its back to feeling like #$%^. Other chems never make Swim depressed but he never uses stimulants. It does not agree well with his body, Swim trashed what he had of mdpv.
