Blue Lotus is a water lily also known as the Egyptian Blue Lotus, the Sacred Lotus of the Nile, and Blue Lily, or from the Latin, Nymphaea Caerulea, has been used for thousands of years for its euphoric properties caused by its secondary compound Nuciferine. In egypt, along with its euphoric properties, it has been used as a sort of herbal Viagra and ahrodisiac in both men and women. Its psychoactive properties include sedative and narcotic effects.[1]
