Hallucinogens

A class of psychoactive substances that influence perception, thought, emotion and consciousness. They differ from other psychoactive substances, such as stimulants and depressants, in that they can induce states of consciousness that are qualitatively different from the ordinary waking state of mind. They can be further broken up into three specific categories; Psychedelics, Dissociatives, and Deliriants.
